Sara Daly Brosman was named Executive Director of the Delphi Opera House, effective March 1, 2015. The position reports to the board of Delphi Opera House, Inc.--the not-for-profit organization responsible for operating the restored performing arts venue. “Developing the program offerings for the all‐important first season of the Delphi Opera House is crucial for a successful launch of this venue,” said Anita Werling, Chair of the Opera House Advisory Board and a member of the selection committee. “We are delighted that Sara Daly Brosman will direct the operations and help turn the Delphi Opera House dream into reality.”
For the past 15 years, Sara Brosman has been the Adult Services Librarian at the Delphi Public Library with responsibility for educational, cultural, and arts-related programming. She also founded and directed the Red Brick Community Theater and Stargazer Youth Theater programs at the library. Additionally she directed plays at the Delphi Community High School from 1999 through 2011.
Currently under restoration, the Delphi Opera House construction phase will be completed in August, 2015. Programs are expected to get under way with grand opening events late this year.
