Programs, Tours, and Publications...
The Delphi Preservation Society presents programs on architectural, historical, and cultural topics throughout the year. Architectural walking and trolley tours showcase Delphi’s commercial and residential architecture along with the stories behind the facades. A self-guided tour brochure is available online. In recent years,
Delphi Preservation Society has reprinted some important Carroll County histories and atlases, including the 1874 Illustrated Historical Atlas of Carroll County, Indiana. The Society has also published new compilations including Up the River of Time—articles by William C. Smith and William Henry Whistler, by Richard L. Funkhouser. Other publications of interest are Delphi, from Arcadia Publishing’s Images of America Series and Delightful, Delicious Delphi—a Society cookbook that includes photographs of many of Delphi’s architectural gems.
These publications and more are available in the Society Gift Shop in the Opera House Gallery of Contemporary Art. For our book catalog, click here.
